Cleopatra's Pyramid II Slots
We know that is a dramatic title but it’s one we wanted to go with. And for good reason. Players liked the original instalment of Cleopatra’s Pyramid, so we like the idea of checking out a sequel. We can now do that thanks to the work of the developer we are about to reveal.
Stand by and get ready to meet the lady herself.
Who is the developer?
WGS is also known as Wager Gaming. Whatever you call them (they’ve gone through a few name changes), they are the ones behind this slot game.
That guarantees access to a demo
Some providers don’t bother with demos – at least not all the time. Fortunately, that isn’t true of WGS. So, if you would like to try the new slot game, you can easily do so at participating casinos that carry WGS games.
You won’t win anything for working out the theme
Cleopatra, ancient Egypt, and everything that goes along with it. That’s the deal in this slot, and even though the topic has been overdone, this is a fine addition to the crowded category.
Checking out the design
Cleopatra’s Pyramid II takes advantage of a background filled with hieroglyphics etched into an ancient wall. The overall color scheme is stone-like, although the icons sometimes have splashes of color involved. With a chance to find some superb symbols on each spin, there is a lot to like about this slot game.
Learn how to play Cleopatra’s Pyramid II here
We should start by revealing there are five reels. You won’t be able to play for a progressive jackpot, unfortunately, although the paytable reveals the top prize of 5,000 credits for five Cleopatra close-up icons on one paid line.
That close-up of Cleo is the wild symbol. She can replace everything apart from the scattered pyramid. That had to come in somewhere, didn’t it?
There are a couple of things to note about the wild. Both good, too. Firstly, it appears over all the reels. Secondly, the middle three reels can see stacked wilds appearing in any spin.
Paylines are clearly indicated to the sides of the reels
The numbers show the start and end points of each line. The pattern for each one is shown on the final page of the paytable.
Play from one cent per line
The game has a pleasant range of coins that appears in many WGS slots. It goes from one cent to $10. You can play one coin per line.
Don’t miss the paytable
They don’t use an icon to show it – just the word PAYTABLE to the far left of your screen under the reels.
Is there a bonus feature?
Yes, you can play a bonus if you manage to find three pyramids in one spin of the reels. However, this trigger gives you alternate features – the free spins or the bonus. So, if you get the free spins first, you’ll go through to the bonus on the next trigger.
The bonus round sends you to the pyramid, where you begin progress on the bottom level. The idea is to ascend the pyramid to see how far you can get. there are prizes on each level. A creepy icon might appear on any level though, and if you hit it, the bonus ends, and you collect whatever you won up to that point. The icon could be a spider or a mummy – we are unsure as we haven’t got through to this feature yet.
You might get some free games
Three, four, or five scatters unlock 10, 20, or a massive 40 free games to play. The game allows for retriggers too. Whenever wilds are involved in prize-winning combos, you can expect to see a multiplier equal to the quantity of wilds in that combination.
The RTP appears as the game loads
This is convenient, and it tells us the RTP is 96.04% - a decent rate, we’d say.
Our rating for Cleopatra’s Pyramid II
The game may not have 3D elements, but it does have plenty of features and perks to look out for. We liked this one a great deal. Those stacked wilds come in useful, and the base game is entertaining even before you reach the free games or bonus round. It’s worth 9/10 from us.
Going for the big 5,000x prize
Cleopatra must bestow great fortune on you to appear five times on the same paid line to award this prize. However, it’s a good top prize to have available.
Packed with entertainment even as a demo game
Some players may never move on from this version. We wouldn’t blame them. It’s entertaining, just as a good slot game should be.
Play for real at participating casinos
Many casinos include games from WGS. You can be sure this will be among them, thanks to its new status.
